Diane Hunter de Hosson passed away Monday, November 2, 2015 at her home in Chatham, New Jersey. She graduated from Westfield High School and was educated at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. She was also a member of Alpha Omicron Pi International Sorority. She had been employed by American Airlines at Liberty International Airport for 11 years, working in the Flight Department and on Air Travel Plan accounts eventually becoming an Acting Supervisor. Later she worked at the Jefferson School in Maplewood, New Jersey working with children who had learning disabilities. More recently she had worked side by side with her late husband, Dr. Bernard de Hosson in his dental office for over twenty years. She had been Treasurer of the Board at Kent Place School, Summit NJ, President, New Jersey Alumni Association of Alpha Omicron Pi, and Vice President, Short Hills/Summit Pan Hellenic Club. She was a member of the Park Avenue Club and the Rolling Hill Theatre Group, Chatham Township, NJ
She served as a Deacon of the Presbyterian Church of Chatham Township and was a lifetime member, active in many programs. As a young girl, she won 1st prize in a fashion and pet show competition at the Atlantic Beach Club, Forest Hills, Long Island and was featured in the Rotogravure Section of the Sunday New York Herald Tribune and the New York World Telegram.
She leaves a brother, Raymond, a daughter, Whitney, a son-in-law, Michael, and three grandchildren, Russell, Dean and Bailey of Manhattan.
Private burial took place in Fairview Cemetery, Westfield. Arrangements by Gray Funeral Directors, Westfield.
